We are never alone. We serve a God who can carry each and every one of our burdens. Let’s remember to lift every worry, concern, and heartache to him in child-like trust and surrender.

Sometimes that is so hard to do. Perhaps it is just my innate sense of not wanting to toss my “stuff” on other people. But then I need to stop and tell myself that God is not other people. He is God!

Well said, Lizzy! I love that God is able and willing to take ANYTHING we might come to him with. Nothing is off limits. We can be completely honest with him, as he knows our hearts anyway. And he truly does take the burdens for us.
