I love the image of God as our rock.
Rocks like the one in this picture are immovable. They are fortresses against the wind and rain.
The Bible says that God is our ‘Rock Eternal’. Even though the world around us keeps changing, he stays the same.
God is reliable, faithful, steadfast, and more certain than anything we’ve known.
Hold onto the Rock, and never let go.
“Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.”
Isaiah 26 NIV

I, also, love Bible verses that describe God as rock, fortress, refuge, and so on.
Yes, there seems to be quite a few. I like the Psalm that says “lead me to the Rock that is higher than I”.
