We are forgiven. Instead of our sin, God sees Jesus. He died in our place. He paid the price. He took on our shame. Because of him, we are redeemed. Because of him, we can live in freedom. And because we are free, we can, with God’s help, make choices for a better life.
Not many people stop to think about just how profound this is. One person, Jesus, who would willingly die for us. How amazing is that?!

This verse is so simple yet so amazing. Sometimes I get tied down by my mistakes and forget that Jesus died for me and when I accepted him, I was forgiven.
