Who am I?
What should I do with my life?
Am I living up to my full potential?
Should I be doing more? Should I be doing less?
What are my talents, and what should I make of them?
Am I channelling my energies in the right direction?
Am I doing what God wants me to do?
How do I really know what His will is?
God… are you there?…
Questions are good, but they can also stunt our growth.
We can ask ourselves so many that we end up in circles, more confused than when we started.

Sometimes life just doesn’t make sense. The answers about our future aren’t clear or linear.
Drifting and circling can become a state of being.
But at one point we have to stop… and look up…
Lord, are you there? Are you really there…? Because I know you care about all these things. You care about who I am and where I am and what I’m going to be. You say you have a plan, and I really want to believe you.
Lord, I’m willing to give you my hand. I can at least do that. And I can ask you to lead me. Would you do that for me Lord? Would you show me the way? I know I can trust you… You’ve never let me down before…
Thank you that the questions are just part of my journey with you, Lord. Help me not to start and end with questions, but to truly seek your answers. Help me to listen… to truly listen… to what you’re saying to me.
Show me who I am. Show me where to go. And show me your way. I will go wherever you lead, my Lord and Saviour…
“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life.” (John 14:6)
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Very well put. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for sharing this! I’m at a time in my life where it seems like my prayers are filled with questions. It can be hard to stop and listen for the answers! But I do know that God is guiding my path… It’s just difficult to remember that and not get caught up in the problems of this world.
I can relate, Christrocks 🙂 I am trying really hard to just listen, and wait if needs be. Praying that we’d both receive clarity.
Hi Ali A way back you posted an article on grieving, I thought I saved it but I can’t find it, would you kindly re-send it to me if you still have it. Thank you. Divine Blessings Always

Count me in, I’m following that circle path, too.
Glad I’m not the only one 🙂 May we keep looking to Him for answers…
I tend to get stuck in the question loop. Great reminder to stop and look up!
Thanks Janna… Yes, only He can cure the paralysis of analysis 🙂
Thank you for this great reminder today, my friend! God is good.
Thanks for dropping by, Brian. He is indeed!
Who among us has figured out the plan that God has for our lives from the beginning to the end?
I never dreamed in a million years that at this stage of my life, after being raised in the country a great deal of the time in my earlier years and then going on to college to become employed in the medical profession and working as a medical missionary, I would take another turn in the road to hand craft as pure as possible, using my nursing background, body care products using what God has given us in His creation to keep our skin shiny and moisturized.
I guess I could say, looking back now, I took the long way around to get back to the basics of God’s creation in the country and where I belonged. Or the route I took had a later purpose in God’s plan for my life? If someone had told me back then this is what I was suppose to do, I would never had thought it so. I had other plans.
A near death experience changes everything. But God knew beforehand all about that too.
It never ceases to amaze me as I look back upon my life the paths I have taken were no accident or coincidence, and while at the time I never saw the plan God had for my life, like the Captain of the Ship He is, His hand was steering me in the direction that lead me on a path where He knew I belonged all the time.
That’s where I’m at today. Trusting in God’s promises in Thy Word.
Many blessings to you, sister.
Wonderful to hear your story, Toni… Wow! It really gives me hope as I bring my questions to Him. May God bless your business and endeavors for Him.
A passage of scripture helps to strengthen my faith and help me along on my journey. Proverbs 4:18 says The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day.
No matter my experience, I trust that The Lord knows what He is doing as He guides me and I follow.
I love those words! Great picture of the dawn shining brighter and brighter…
Yes – amen to that! Thanks for dropping by…
