Wait for the rose garden

I’m so glad this world is not all there is. I’m relieved beyond relief I can live with a genuine hope of a better tomorrow. Yes, this earth is filled with so much beauty and life and joy in the midst of the heartache. Flowers truly can grow out of cracks in the pavement. But someday, those who trust in Jesus won’t have to use a magnifying glass to find the flowers. He’ll treat us to a brand new rose garden that spans one end of the earth to the other.

“Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”
Colossians 3 NIV

  1. Amen and Amen! I so look forward to that hopeful day! However, I do believe that whilst here we should try to see all the beauty that does exist put here by God for us to enjoy. It is here for His glory.

    1. Absolutely. There is so much beauty in both the ‘now’ and the ‘not yet’. I can’t wait till everything is made complete and perfect.
