Many of us like to feel we’re in complete control – that we’ve earnt everything we own through hard work. But God offers us something vital and life-changing that we simply can’t achieve on our own: Forgiveness for our sins. Salvation… Freedom from having to earn acceptance. This is his grace-soaked gift to us. Will we stretch out our hands in faith, receive it, and live our lives in gratitude?

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”
Ephesians 2 NIV

Keeping the illusion of control makes sense… God loving us so much he saved us through the sacrifice of His son is harder to wrap my mind around. But God’s grace is amazing

I thought I commented but it doesn’t look like it saved. I find it’s easier to think I’ve got it all under control rather than wrap my head around God sacrificing his son for me and loving me in spite of my sins. God’s grace is amazing.
