Over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing quotes that have slowed me down and made me think.
This one’s from Thomas Merton:
“If we are to love sincerely and with simplicity, we must first of all overcome the fear of not being loved.”
The fear of not being loved is common to all.
We want to know we’re loved, from the moment we’re born.
And when we’re God’s kids, love is a permanent reality.
We don’t need to look further.
How will the security of God’s love give you energy to love others this week?
