What makes you happy? And what is happiness exactly?…

These are the questions I asked seven different people for a seven-minute video on the topic.

I proposed the following:

  • What are the things that make you the most happy?
  • What is happiness to you?
  • What is good mental health, and what does self-love and self-care look like?

It was fun to interview different people from my family, including my 11-year-old son, about the things that matter most to them.

Enjoy the end result of my first attempt at film-making… and watch this space for more down the track πŸ™‚ Ali

  1. Never really gave it much thought. It is just something that happens when it happens. However…

Something that makes me most happy would be the satisfaction of knowing I completed something to the expectations I set for myself. Sure, it is kind of an introverted attitude, but it works for me.

    1. I just finished viewing your other videos. Awesome! The one about connecting with God describes my faith journey at this point in time. Some deserts are bigger than others. However, I do have a few questions regarding the subject, but I am not going to post them here. I look forward to seeing more of your work! God bless.

      1. Sorry for my slow reply, Liz. Thanks so much for watching my videos. I’m praying that you’d find ways to reconnect with God and rediscover his love for you. God bless you!

  2. Well, after a few years … and several stumbles, I venture to say that happiness for me is to have Peace.
It is a synthesis of what I have seen, done, thought, sought, learned, and still try to understand, … while I am here.
Congratulations on the initiative and thank you!!

    1. Peace is a powerful thing, isn’t it? Peace and contentment are wonderful things to discover – and they don’t always come easily. Thanks for sharing, Carlos!

      1. Perhaps Peace is one of the goals of Faith, and to be a process, and realize it, is to achieve rest for the soul in the mercy of the Lord. Blessings, Girl!
