Where are your eyes today?
Are they focused on the seemingly endless to-do list in front of you?
Or are they drifting towards concerns about what other people think of you, or what’s expected of you?
Maybe your eyes are drawn to short-term pleasures; quick-fixes such as shopping, or food, or social media.
Fixing our eyes on Jesus is often the last thing we consider doing.
But allowing our gaze to periodically wander back to him – becoming attentive to his purposes for us – is vital.
Shifting our attention towards his loving eyes can make the world of difference to how we live our lives.
His love becomes the lens we look through. His love changes how we see. His love turns our world around. His love is everything, and is truly all we need.
Lord, help me to focus my eyes on you and your character, the truth in your word, and your amazing love for me. Help me to truly see you today, and be changed in the process.
‘I keep my eyes always on the Lord . With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.”

These days I am consumed by Him.
Awesome!
This is wonderful. I so needed to hear it today.
I’m so glad. May you keep your eyes fixed on Him. 🌷
Thank you Ali! You always know how to call us back to Him, with understanding and compassion! Blessings and love!
Thanks Debbie! May you keep drawing near to him in love, dear friend 💕
We can be quick to turn our eyes away from Jesus because the distractions are numerous. Thank you for turning our eyes back to the Author and Perfecter of our faith!
SO Good! On my “faith wall” (living room area), I have a large decorative cross with that verse from Psalms…sometimes when I’m feeling most “shaken”, I forget to look at it–yikes! 🙂 But HE is always faithful to bring us a messenger–and you are such a lovely one!! ❤
That’s awesome Flavia – I love how God speaks to us in so many creative ways, reminding us of who he is and what he has done for us! May you keep looking to the cross x
Yes, AMEN!! ❤
