Quote of the day: God owns every split second

Over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing quotes that have slowed me down and made me think. This one’s from C.S. Lewis: “There is no neutral ground in the universe; every square inch, every split second, is claimed by God and counter-claimed by Satan.” Remember that life is a battlefield. God owns everything, yet Satan seeks to lay claim on every last bit of it. We’re at war, but Jesus has the ultimate victory. One day he’ll make things right. One day he’ll defeat his enemy in complete triumph.
