Intimacy in isolation

Are you searching for intimacy with God during iso?

Songs such as this have been uplifting for me lately.

Reflecting on the love of God for us when the world is in chaos does wonders.

Enjoy the lyrics and music of one of my favourites…

He is jealous for me
Love’s like a hurricane, and I am a tree
Bending beneath the weight of His wind and mercy
When all of a sudden
I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory
And I realize just how beautiful you are and how great your affections are for me

And oh
How He loves us oh
Oh how He loves us
how He loves us oh

He is jealous for me
Love’s like a hurricane, and I am a tree
Bending beneath the weight of His wind and mercy

When all of a sudden
I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory
And I realize just how beautiful you are and how great your affections are for me

And oh
How He loves us oh
Oh how He loves us
how He loves us oh

Yeah He loves us
Oh how He loves us
Oh how He loves us
Oh how He loves

Yeah He loves us
Oh how He loves us

  1. Hi Ali! Thanks for this important insight! I know very well about isolation and depending on the individual it can be a blessing or a curse, but the key to dealing with it is a resilient faith and trust in the Lord. My long term simmering novel deals with these factors and revelation; the act of genuinely believing and realizing that we are in God’s hands! 😊 🙏 ❤
